Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve welding workability and tempering embrittleness resistance performance in a weld part of a gas shielded arc welding of thick Cr-Mo steel, by contg. specific amts. of C, Mn, Si, Cr, Mo, Zr, Fe in a wire for welding.
CONSTITUTION: A titled wire for welding consisting of 0.1W0.14% C, 0,7W1% Mn, 0.25W0.5% Si, 2.1W8.2% Cr, 0.9W1.2% Mo, 0.06W0.14% Zr by weifht and the balance Fe. The thick plate weld zone of Cr-Mo type steel, particularly the narrow groove weld zone is gas shielded arc welded by the above-mentioned wire for welding, and the tempering embrittleness resistance performance is improved.
