PURPOSE: To provide a wire gripping part in which arc discharge does not take place locally even if a current flows from other phase wire to a metallic engaging part.
CONSTITUTION: A wire gripper 2 comprising a metallic part 4 engaging with a wire 1 and an elastic rubber body 5 applied on the inner and outer surfaces at the engaging part 4 is engaged with the wire 1 and a helical rod 6 is wound around the wire 1 from the outer periphery of the wire gripper 2 to be secured to the wire l thus constituting a wire gripping part. Furthermore, a conductive helical rod 7 for bringing the metallic engaging part 4 and the wire 1 to an electrically identical potential is wound around the metallic engaging part 4 exposed from the end of the resilient rubber body 5 applied on the outer surface of the metallic engaging part 4.
