Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly change the direction of a wire electrode to successfully guide it and also to provide a small wire electrode.
CONSTITUTION: When the tip of a wire electrode 1 is inserted into a collection- side guide aperture 14, contacted with a guide roller 44, and fed to a guide channel 62, it is bent toward the guide roller 44 by machining liquid bursting out from a first nozzle aperture 66 toward the progress direction of the wire electrode 1. The machining liquid bursting out from a second nozzle aperture 70 toward the wire electrode 1, which has passed the guide channel 62, guides the wire electrode 1 to a feed aperture 34 and then to a collection mechanism.
