PURPOSE: To enable to maintain abrasion resistance of a wire guide itself while preventing a printing wire from being abraded, by a method wherein an epoxy resin is used as a matrix material, which is mixed with an extrahigh molecular weight polyethylene powder, and the resultant material is molded.

CONSTITUTION: An epoxy resin which is moldable and excellent in heat resistance is used as a matrix material, which is mixed with an extrahigh molecular weight polyethylene powder for enhancing lubricity and an alumina (Al2O3) powder for enhancing the hardness after hardening. Accordingly, abrasion of the printing wire and abrasion of the wire guide itself can be reduced, whereby it is contrived to reduce the price of the printing head and to enhance printing quality. Mixing of the alumina powder may be omitted, depending on the kind of the wire guide.
