PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the assembling of an instrument panel and an air duct, the connection of electric equipment unit to a harness for the instrument panel and the assembling of the electric equipment unit to the instrument panel by improving positioning accuracy of a unit waiting connector. SOLUTION: This device comprises a wire harness for an instrument panet which is provided with an electric equipment unit having a connector for harness connection, the instrument panel on which a mounting part of the electric equipment unit is formed, an air duct 30 to be assembled to the instrument panel, and a unit waiting connector 20b to be connected to the connector for harness connection of each of the electric equipment units. And it in a box provided with an insertion port provided at the mounting part of the instrument panel corresponding to the connector for harness connection, storing the unit waiting connector 20B in the air duct 30, elastically positioned with respect to the insertion port by a plate state bracket 32, and provided with a connector holder 33 having an engagement part to be engaged with the insertion port.
