To manufacture a wire harness in a saved space by removing overlaid-wiring of a sub-harness.
A manufacturing device 10 comprises: a plurality of split wiring plates 1-3 which can move in a wire harness longitudinal direction and have a length long enough to entirely mount a set of wire harnesses 24 while they are aligned in line; an electric wire shelf 4 arranged adjacent to a first station 11; wire harness raising means 14 arranged above a last station 13 and transporting a completed wire harness to an inspection stage 15 along a rail 9; and circulation means 6-8 for circulating a plurality of the split wiring plates. At the first station 11, a connector 17 is sert on the first split wiring plate 1. At an intermediate station 12, an electric wire 16 continued to the connector is wired on the first split wiring plate. At the last station 13, an exterior component 20 is mounted to the electric wire on the first split wiring plate. Similarly, on the intermediate split wiring plate 2 and the last split wiring plate 3, the connectors are set, the electric wires are arranged, and the exterior components are mounted.
