A wire lead-in device 1 for leading a wire 4 into a building from the top of a roof material 3 laid on a roof structure 2 includes: a body member 10 having a base part 11 in a horizontally long plate shape which is attached onto the roof material 3, an insertion hole 12 which passes through the base part 11 and to which the wire 4 can be inserted, a peripheral wall part 13 extended upwards from an upper surface of the base part 11 surrounding both right and left sides and a ridge side of the wire 4 extended to an eaves side through the insertion hole 12, for which a lower end of a part extended more to the eaves side than an eaves side end side of the base part 11 is obliquely inclined so as to be turned upwards as approaching the eaves side, and an inclined bottom wall part 14 extended from the eaves side end side of the base part 11 to the eaves side connecting the obliquely inclined lower ends in the peripheral wall part 13 with each other; and a cover member 30 detachably attached to the body member 10 and capable of closing an upper side opening of the peripheral wall part 13.
