Abstract:
To provide a steel making method and a steel making system for improving productivity and reducing equipment cost.SOLUTION: In steel making, for example, electric furnace steelmaking, molten steel is transferred from an electric furnace to a ladle 100 in an electric furnace refining station S1, and an additive element is charged while flowing electric current through molten steel in the ladle 100 in a subsequent secondary refining station S2 to adjust components at a first stage. In a next wire charging station S3, an addition pipe 20 containing the additive element is charged into molten steel in the ladle 100 to adjust components at a second stage. Further, at the wire charging station S3, wires 91-94 made of an elongated steel pipe filled with the required additive elements is charged into molten steel in the ladle 100 to adjust components at a third stage. Charging of the wires 91-94 and charging of a heat insulating material 80 are carried out while a dust collecting hood 71 is placed over the ladle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
