To provide a small wire lock which has a latch having an adjustable length.

The wire lock is mainly composed of a lock main body 1 and a steel wire 2. The steel wire is penetrated into the lock main body to form the closed latch portion together with the lock main body. The lock main body is formed of a lock case, a number ring lock unit 13, two press buttons 14, two pressing members 15, and two grip members 16, and by pressing the press buttons, unlocking/locking operation is controlled. Thus by engaging the grip members in the steel wire, the wire lock assumes a locking position, and by disengaging the grip members from the steel wire, the wire lock assumes an unlocking position. Further a blocking range between the steel wire and the lock main body is adjustable.
