Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire polisher capable of polishing the whole circumference of a wire core of a wire in a short time and easily performing skilled work by eliminating the need for the work.SOLUTION: A wire polisher includes: a cylindrical wire holding part 2 in which a holding recess 2a having an inner diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the core wire of the wire; a joint part 3 which is projected in the radial direction from the wire holding part 2 and enables an operation rod to be attached thereto/detached therefrom; and a wire reception part 4 which is provided on the side opposite to the joint part 3 of the wire holding part 2 and enables the wire to be inserted in the radial direction. The wire reception part 4 has a pair of reception pieces 4a warped in the direction being separated from each other, and a gap between portions closest to this pair of reception pieces 4a is formed to be smaller than a core wire diameter of the wire. On the inner surface of the wire reception part 4 and the wire holding part 2, polishing materials 8a, 8b are provided polishing the wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
