Abstract:

To provide a wire ring pitch determination method which can determine the disturbance of a ring pitch of a wire at an early stage.SOLUTION: A ring pitch determination method according to one aspect of the present invention, which uses a wire manufacturing apparatus comprising a laying head for winding a wire formed by hot rolling into a coil and a conveying device for conveying the wire wound and released by this laying head includes: a step of winding the wire by the laying head; a step of imaging the wire released from the laying head after the winding step and falling on the conveying device; a step of calculating the ring pitch of the wire based on the image obtained in the imaging step; and a step of determining the presence or absence of the disturbance of the ring pitch of the wire based on the ring pitch calculated in the calculating step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
