To provide a wire saw which can prevent the microvibration in a clearance part of a work from occurring during the cutting to the work even when some clearance corresponding to dimentional tolerance is formed between a bearing unit of a processing roller and a shaft supporting cylinder of a supporting frame.
A plurality of processing rollers 15, 16, 17 are supported at their both ends by a supporting frame 14 via a bearing unit 26 in a rotatable manner. A wire 18 is wound round and between these processing rollers 15 to 17 at the prescribed pitch, and the wire 18, which is run, is brought in contact with the work for cutting. The bearing unit 26 for each processing roller 15 to 17 is slidably inserted into the shaft supporting cylinder 27 installed in the supporting frame 14. A clamping mechanism 28, which clamps the bearing unit 26 from the outside while the unit 26 is inserted into the shaft supporting cylinder 27 is provided to the shaft supporting cylinder 27 of the supporting frame 14.
