Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with two kinds of wire spring clips by one tool without exchanging an arm piece by forming a claw part at both sides in the longitudinal direction of the arm piece or at both sides in the direction normal to the longitudinal direction.
SOLUTION: When rails are laid on a tie-plate 31 in an ordinary portion, the tip 33a of a wire spring clip 33 forming an e-shape in plan view is inserted in an insertion hole 32a of a spring receive base 32, and the lower end step 14 of a handle body 10 of a fastening tool is mounted on the corner of the receive base 32 or the rear low position, and the claw 21 of the arm piece 20 of the fastening tool is hooked on the turning-back part 33b of the clip 33. Then, when the handle body 10 is pulled toward the position 33b by using the lower end step 14 as a fulcrum to swing it, the tip 33a of the clip 33 is drawn in the insertion hole 32a of the receive base 32 while it is elastically deformed and the rails are elastically fastened to the tie-plate 31. When the rail is laid on the tie-plate 31 in the rail joint, the claw 22 of the arm piece 20 is hooked on the turning-back part 33b.
