A cord reel 600 for storing a power receiving cord 250 for transmitting power includes: a drum 610; a spring device 660; and a resistance adding device 630. The power receiving cord 250 is wound around the drum 610 in the case of storage. The spring device 660 is attached to the drum 610 and gives winding torque for winding the power receiving cord 250 to the drum 610. The resistance adding device 630 can variably adjust resistance force to rotation of the drum 610. The resistance adding device 630 adjusts the resistance force so that torque required for drawing out the power receiving cord 250 from the drum 610 becomes almost constant.
