Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate the taping of wires by supplying a plurality of wires in a bundle.
CONSTITUTION: An arm 37 holds a wire 1 at a point D. A tape supplying piece 69 grips and draws out a fixed length of an adhesive tape 70 as an arm 35 is turned counterclockwise. A heater block 50 which turns together with the arm 35 cuts the adhesive tape 70. The wire 1 is inserted into a U-shaped groove 92 together with the adhesive tape 70. When the wire 1 reaches a point A, the arm 35 is stopped. A tape pressing member 93 is turned to attach the tape 70 to the wire 1, then taping operation is performed by driving a timing belt 108 under a tension. The arm 35 sorts faulty wires and drops into a container during clockwise turning.
