Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire tensioning device in which a tensioned wire rod can easily be tensed in course wire such as canoe competition, and the handling is easy in the conveyance and setting or in the storage.SOLUTION: A wire tensioning device 10 is provided in which a shaft member 13a is suspended from a float 11 floating on a water surface. A worm gear 15 is provided in the lower end of this shaft member 13a. Course wire W1 is connected to the worm gear 15. The worm gear 15 includes a worm coaxially provided with the shaft member 13a and a worm wheel engaged with the worm. A reel part 16 is coaxially provided in the worm wheel, and a tension wire rod 17 connected to an anchor 12 is wound up. A worker operates a handle part 14 provided on an upper end of the shaft member 13a projecting from the float 11 to thereby rotate axially the worm, and winds up the tension wire rod 17 to the reel part 16 to thereby make the course wire W1 be tense.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
