To automatically process each terminal by wrapping each rope around a starting end and a terminal end of a wire to be wound by a winding drum, and leading the terminal end side rope to the winding drum, and the starting end side rope to a flange of other winding drum respectively so as to fix the to the outer surface of the flange.
A rope is wrapped around a starting end of a wire L, which is held by a wire holder 15, by a starting end side rope winding means 2 mounted on a truck to be moved forward. The truck is moved to the winding drum 3 side, and a twisting machine is operated, and the starting end of the wire L is stopped just before a hole of a flange 4 of the winding drum 3, and the rope is drawn outside of the flange 4 by a drawing means 7, and held for cutting. The starting end of the wire L is lead out of the hole of the flange 4 by the movement of the rope holding means and the inching movement of the twisting machine, and after placing nails in the rope, the twisting machine and the winding machine 13 are operated so as to wind up the wire L at the set length, and the operation is stopped. After cutting the wire L, the winding machine 13 is moved to any one of terminal processing devices 9, 9, and the rope is wrapped around the terminal end of the held wire L by a finish end side rope winding means 10A or 10B, and after placing nails in the rope, the rope is cut.
