To provide a wire transfer device that lets a wire for welding off a first coil and a nearby coil without interruption or continuously.

The wire transfer device includes a wire transfer device frame 20, on which a wire guide member 18 is provided coaxially with the axis of nearby coils 12 and 14 for sliding movement thereon. When the wire coils 12 and 14 are placed side by side under the wire transfer device, the wire guide member 18 thus slidably mounted on the device frame 20 slides on it into a coaxial relation to the axis of the wire coil 12 or 14. While a wire 15 is let off the first coil 12, the wire guide member 18 is held coaxial, with the axis of the first coil 12. This coaxial placement of the wire guide member 18 in relation to the axis of the first coil 12 involves pressing the wire guide member 18 on an associated stopper member 17 set on the device frame 20 while the wire 15 is let off the first coil 12.
