PURPOSE: To facilitate the work for winding a wire material for reinforcement round the outside face of a structure continuously at the specified pitch by running the winder main body for winding a wire material so that it rounds the outside face of the existing structure spirally at the specified angle.
CONSTITUTION: A wire material winder B is sticked fast to the sideface of the existing structure A. The wire material winder B has a main body 1 held by a holding device 3 and the main body 1 has a wire material for reinforcement and a controller therein and is connected to a pair - left and right - of robot arm mechanisms 2a, 2b through pivot joints 11aW12b. Run driving devices 4a (not shown in the drawing), 4b at the ends of the robot arms 2a, 2b are controlled to incline so as to spirally elevate the winder B on the sideface of the structure A. At the same time, it rounds the surface of the structure A while veering out a wire material 7. Hereby, the wire material 7 is continuously wound round the surface of the structure A at the specified pitch.
