Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire winding method and device with which it is possible to take up various sorts of wires with a constant tension and in constant wound condition at all times without causing collapse, deformation, or turbulence in winding, and in particular without twining, deformation in product, etc., in case the wire handled is of soft nature having an irregular shape.
SOLUTION: A wire winding device is equipped with a takeup means and a traverse arm 40, wherein the takeup means includes a bobbin 50 on which a wire 100 is wound and takeup shafts 65a and 65b for rotating the bobbin 50 while the traverse arm 40 has a foremost guide part 42 approaching the peripheral surface of the bobbin and is capable of swinging oscillatively in the radial direction of the bobbin. The arrangement further includes an intermittent traversing mechanism 20 to move the traverse arm 40 at a certain pitch in the axial direction of the bobbin in association with taking-up of the wire and a vertical direction traversing mechanism 30 to move the arm 40 for the specified height in the radial direction of the bobbin at each time one layer of winding is made on the bobbin completely. The feed of the wire is made in free tension by a wire feeding device 10.
