Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless access point installed for services such as a public wireless LAN requiring no security settings that automatically completes connection with a wireless communication terminal of a user to communicate over radio without complex operations by the user.SOLUTION: A wireless access point comprises: a wireless communication unit to communicate over radio with a wireless communication terminal; an acquisition unit to acquire identification required for wireless communication from the wireless communication terminal; a connection unit to notify the wireless communication unit that it transmits a communication frame including a given identification to the wireless communication terminal; and a determination unit. The determination unit determines whether at least the given identification matches an identification used by any of all other neighboring wireless access points, and determines whether the wireless communication terminal responds within a predetermined time period after the communication frame including the given identification is transmitted to the wireless communication terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
