To provide an efficient wireless card system for facilitating a countermeasure to the data transfer at plural transmitting speeds or the data transfer in a short distance and a long distance by one card.

This wireless card system is provided with a transmission and reception system for operating data transfer from a reader/writer 2 to a card 1 and data transfer from the card 1 to the reader/writer 2 on a microwave band, and a transmission and reception system for operating both the data transfer on a short band. Both the data acquisition from the card 1 and the data storing into the card 1 is operated in non-contact, and the supply of a driving power to the card 1 is operated in non-contact from a writer 3 to the card 1 by using a short wave band. Only while the driving power is supplied from the writer 3 to the card 1, the data transfer is operated by those two transmission and reception systems.
