Abstract:
To form a group without using a base station.SOLUTION: A wireless communication device comprises: a reception unit which receives, on a first channel, a group creation request signal from a management device and a group subscription request signal from each of a plurality of reader devices; a mode setting unit which, when the group creation request signal is received, sets the device to a group creation mode for a first predetermined time; a storage unit which receives the group subscription request signal from each of the plurality of reader devices during a group creation mode and stores radio wave intensity at which the group subscription request signal was received in association with an identifier of a reader device that has transmitted the group subscription request signal; a selection unit which, when the group creation mode ends, selects a reader device of which the radio wave intensity stored in the storage device is a maximum value; and a transmission unit which transmits, to the reader device selected by the selection unit, a group subscription application signal on a second channel that is different from the first channel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
