The wireless communication game system is provided with at least one master unit and the plurality of slave units enabling wireless communication with each other. The master unit transmits a master unit program for distribution, game data, and generation information indicating what generation is the data for the distribution counting from the ones of the master unit to the plurality of slave units. By receiving the data for the distribution and executing the master unit program, the respective slave units update the generation information and transmit the master unit program for the distribution, the game data and the updated generation information to the plurality of other slave units. By the system, since the slave unit which receives the data can become a temporary master unit next and transmit the data successively to the plurality of other slave units, the data are transmitted to many slave units in a short period of time. Also, by the generation information, what generation is the received data counting from the ones of the master unit can be recognized in the slave unit.
