To make it possible, when a frequency channel in use becomes disabled, to perform changeover to another frequency channel without disconnecting communication.SOLUTION: A radio communication method includes: on the basis of a notification received from a communication apparatus, determining use frequency channels for frequency hopping, the number of which is predetermined; and, when use frequency channels, the number of which is predetermined, are updated, notifying a plurality of communication apparatuses of control information including information representing use frequency channels after update and information representing timing at which communication using the use frequency channels after update is to be started. Each communication apparatus performs communication by a frequency hopping system according to the control information, using a first radio device; measures states of at least one or some of a plurality of predesignated available frequency channels, using a second radio device; and notifies an apparatus for determining a use candidate frequency channel of a measurement result by the second radio device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
