Abstract:
To provide a radio communication system and communication method capable of performing an announcement by loud voice from an outdoor slave station to a whole area of a city even in a case where a console cannot be used due to a large scale disaster or the like.SOLUTION: A radio communication system includes: a console equipped with a telephone set; a base station including a storage device; a relay station; and an outdoor slave station including a speaker and a telephone set. When contact communication is performed by using a special number dial from the telephone set of the outdoor slave station to the telephone set of the console, voice from the telephone set of the outdoor slave station is recorded in the storage device of the base station. Voice recorded in the storage device is announced by loud voice from the speaker of the outdoor slave station.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
