PURPOSE: To provide a wireless computer input device which can simplify the rotation information of three-dimensional position information (spatial information) in addition to the three-dimensional position information.

CONSTITUTION: The wireless computer input device has a handy input device and an input device main body, and the handy input device 10 has at least three light emitting elements 12, 14, and 16 which emit light pulses and the input device main body has an optical system unit including two light receiving elements 12, 14, and 16 which receive the light pulses emitted by the light emitting elements 12, 14, and 16 of the handy input device and an arithmetic circuit means which calculates the position coordinates of the handy input device by computing data obtained from the light receiving elements.
