Title:
WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM PREDICTING MOVING DESTINATION OF SLAVE STATION, AND WIRELESS LAN MASTER STATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3821774
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a LAN system predicting a moving destination of a slave station, for previously securing a band required for QoS (quality of service) control at the time of hand-over of the slave station.
SOLUTION: When a master station detects the hand-over of the slave station during QoS communication via a wireless communication unit 10, a table control unit 20 acquires a table in which the MAC address of the master station of a moving destination is registered, and a band securing request signal transmitting section 30 transmits a band securing request frame to the master station through a LAN communication unit 40 via Ethernet (R). The table control unit 20 registers the acquired table by a registering means 21, deletes the table by a deleting means 22, and updates and manages the table by a management means 23.
