To provide a wireless public telephone system where subscriber stations which are configured at a low cost and set corresponding to general telephones and accounting telephones are provided, and to provide the subscriber devices of the wireless public telephone system.

The wireless public telephone system is configured so as to be equipped with an exchange connected to a public telephone switched network, a base station connected to the exchange, subscriber stations making radio communications with the base station, and telephones connected to the subscriber stations. The subscriber station sends out the received sound signals and accounting signals through different paths, whereby a circuit for converting the accounting signals into signals for superposition and another circuit for superposing the accounting signals on the sound signals are not required to be provided, and the subscriber stations and the wireless public telephone system can be inexpensively configured. The accounting signals are outputted in a logical signal format, so that accounting processing in the accounting telephone can be structured in a simple configuration.
