To provide a wireless remote controller which is easily searched for when its location becomes unknown by receiving a calling signal, responding to the calling signal and generating a signal to inform its location.

A remote controller calling signal generating part 21 is provided in an operating part of an air conditioner main body 1, ratio wave is generated and the calling signal of the wireless remote controller is transmitted when a wireless remote controller calling switch 5 is pressed. On the other hand, a calling signal generated from the calling signal generating part 21 of the air conditioner main body 1 is received, the signal is transmitted to a second generating part 25 by a calling signal receiving part 23 at a side of the wireless remote controller 13, the sound (or light and vibration) is generated by responding to the signal by the sound generating part 25. A user is capable of finding the location of the wireless remote controller 13 by recognizing the sound.
