A sensor unit 11 generates data. A wireless communication unit 18 wirelessly transmits the data. A battery 15 supplies power to the sensor unit 11 and the wireless communication unit 18. A determining unit 13 determines a level of transmission urgency of wireless transmission of the data. A control unit 14 that controls the wireless communication unit 18 to wirelessly transmit the data, the control unit executes control to inhibit the wireless communication unit 18 from using power supplied from the battery 15 when causing the wireless communication unit 18 to wirelessly transmit the data of which the transmission urgency is determined to be low by the determination unit 13.
