Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent fracture of optical fibers by lining up and grasping the optical fibers or oprical fiber cables between cushion materials which are disposed to face each other.
CONSTITUTION: This holder prevents optical fiber cables from being bent and are consequently broken in the stage of fixing. A screw 11 is first loosened in the stage of fixing then grasping plates 5, 6, hence cushion materials 3, 4 are opened and optical fiber cables 1 are lined up in one row between said materials. The plates 5, 6 are then closed and the plates 5, 6 are tightened to each other by means of the screw 11. Then the cables 1 are thus prevented from being bent by tightening and from being consequently broken.
