Abstract:

To provide a wiring structure of a flexible printed circuit board, an optical pickup device, an optical information processing apparatus, and a system for determining a connection state and a method for determining a connection state, which easily determine whether a connection state is normal or abnormal without increasing the number of male connectors formed on a flexible circuit board and prevent electric parts included in the flexible circuit board and the optical pickup device from being broken.

The flexible circuit board 1a is formed with a plurality of wirings 20. The wirings 20a to 20c, which transmit the same type of electric signals, among the plurality of wirings 20 are electrically connected at connections 25 by a connection wiring 22. Whether the connection state is normal or abnormal is determined using the wirings 20a to 20c without increasing the number of the male connectors 21 formed on the flexible circuit board 1a when the flexible circuit board 1a is connected with an external device.
