Abstract:

To provide a book and a magazine with a magnetic wire tag which can be deactivated and prevents theft and shoplifting from being committed, attached at a position where the tag is invisible outwardly.

The book and magazine 1 with a magnetic wire tag is structured so that the text pages and covers are saddle-stitched and the magnetic wire tag 2 which can be deactivated is attached to the book/magazine. The magnetic wire tag 2 is attached at the outer or inner face folding part of the temporary cover of either of fold sections 11 saddle-stitched in the way that a saddle stitching wire is side-stepped. In addition, the book and magazine with a magnetic wire tag are obtained by a bookbinding process after the magnetic wire tag is attached to the fold section, even when the text pages and the covers are plain-stitched, wireless-stitched or braid-stitched.
