To provide a withdrawing device for a catalyst in a reaction column and a withdrawing method of the catalyst, capable of improving working efficiency, free from the necessity of a special device such as a vacuum device, capable of preventing the crushing of the catalyst and reducing the loss of the catalyst.
The withdrawing device 10 of the catalyst in the reaction column 1 is for crushing a spent catalyst, feeding the crushed catalyst into a withdrawing pipe 11 formed from plural pipe members 12 provided in the reaction column 1 and withdrawing it out of the reaction column 1 by natural falling. Because the catalyst is withdrawn only by feeding the catalyst to the pipe, the working efficiency is improved, the special device such as the vacuum device is unnecessary and the cost is reduced.
