Title:
WITHDRAWING LIQUID COOLING DEVICE USING PHASE CHANGE COOLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3950302
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert cooling on an electric element and an electronic element and to perform very low vortex flow power consumption and exert cooling on an element from a position away from an element surface with very low vortex power consumption and the very high coefficient of heat transfer.
SOLUTION: An improved cooling device performs cooling from the surface of an electronic element with very low vortex power consumption and the very high coefficient of heat transfer. An element to be cooled is brought into heat contact with a cold plate evaporator. A coolant is circulated to the cold plate evaporator by a liquid coolant pump and a liquid coolant is at least partly evaporated by heat generated by the element. Steam is condensed by an ordinary condenser coil and liquid condensed together with liquid of non-vaporization is returned to a pump. A device is approximately isothermally operated in vaporized and condensation.
