Title:
WOBBLE SIGNAL DETECTING CIRCUIT AND OPTICAL DISK DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004192807
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a wobble signal detecting circuit which is used for a plurality of kinds of optical recording media and which precisely and stably detects wobble signals at least during recording.

The circuit is provided with a first amplitude adjusting circuit 57a' which is used to adjust the amplitudes of first voltage signals corresponding to the opto-electric conversion signals from a first light receiving region of a light receiving element. The amplitudes are matched with a target amplitude, a second amplitude adjusting circuit which is used to adjust the amplitudes of second voltage signals corresponding to the opto-electric conversion signals from a second light receiving region of the light receiving element. The amplitudes are matched with the target amplitude, a target amplitude setting circuit which is used to individually set the target amplitudes for the circuits 57a' and the second amplitude adjusting circuit and a subtracting circuit which outputs the difference in the output signals of the circuit 57a' and the second amplitude adjusting circuit as wobble signals.
