Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering control valve used in a power steering system.
SOLUTION: This steering system 10 for a vehicle includes internal and external valve members 40, 42 relatively rotatable to serve as a fluid inlet/outlet in a power steering motor 31. A torsion bar 102 is connected to the internal and external valve members to resist against relative rotation between both the members during operation of the steering system. A torsion tube 202 has a first end part 206 connected to the external valve member and a second end part 210 connected to a clutch 212. The clutch 212 connects a second end part of the torsion tube 202 to the internal valve member 40, to increase resistance against the relative rotation between the internal and external valve members 40, 42.
