To provide a wood-fueled heating device capable of controlling a fuel supply amount and an air supply amount in accordance with a content of tree bark components by discriminating the content of tree bark component of a wood solid fuel, inhibiting the accumulation of ash in a combustion tray, thus inhibiting the failure in combustion by a clinker.
This device comprises a fuel conveying device for conveying the wood solid fuel, an air blower for combustion for sending air for fuel, an optical characteristic measuring device for measuring the optical characteristic of a surface of the wood solid fuel, and a control part for controlling the fuel supply amount and the air supply amount in accordance with the optical characteristic of the fuel. The content of tree bark is estimated on the basis of the optical characteristic of the fuel during its supply, by the optical characteristic measuring device to control the fuel supply amount and air supply amount, whereby the ash accumulated in the combustion tray can be reduced, and the failure in combustion by the clinker can be prevented.
