Abstract:
To accurately detect the movement amount of conveyed wood in processing of wood.SOLUTION: A wood processing device comprises: a plate thickness sensor 10; first conveyance devices (3, 7) provided on an upstream side of the plate thickness sensor to convey wood; cutting devices (4, 5, 6) provided on the upstream side of the plate thickness sensor 10; a first sensor 8 provided on the upstream side of the plate thickness sensor 10 to detect the movement amount of the wood to a conveyance direction; second conveyance devices (12, 14) provided on a downstream side of the plate thickness sensor 10 to convey the wood; a second sensor 11 provided on the downstream side of the plate thickness sensor 10 to detect the movement amount of the wood; and a control part 20 determining quality of the plate thickness based on a condition where the plate thickness of the wood deviates from an allowable range and a length where the condition exists in the conveyance direction. The control part 20 calculates the movement amount based on the first sensor 8 with respect to the predetermined length portion of the wood from a front end in the conveyance direction, and calculates the movement amount based on the second sensor 11 with respect to the subsequent portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
