In the wooden bag, an upper body member 2 made of a flexible material and a lower body member 1 made of wood are connected to each other with an engageable joint 10 formed at the upper and lower body members 2 and 1. A barrel 4 is formed in which the bottom of the bag is formed using the wooden lower member 1 having a recessed cross-section. This is an excellent wooden bag in which, in spite of the wooden material, a sufficiently large opening can be obtained, facilitating taking-out of things inside the bag.
