Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dispense with the manual operation to be taken from the detection of an air bubble to return to the normal state by bringing a blood collecting container receiving part by a pressurizing and depressufizing means to a reduced pressure state after the detection of an air bubble and opening only a predetermined circuit opening and closing means to allow the air bubble in a blood corpuscle component return circuit to flow in a blood collecting container.
CONSTITUTION: When the air bubble in a blood feed pipe 8 is detected by an air bubble detection means 97, a buzzer emits sound and a control part 59 closes all of circuit opening and closing means 12, 13, 14, 15, 46. Next, a leak valve 50 is opened and a blood collecting container receiving part 41 once becomes an atmosphere open state. At this time, a pump 43 keeps an operative state. Subsequently, the leak valve 50 and a valve 52 are closed and a valve 51 is opened and the receiving part 41 becomes a reduced pressure state. Continuously, the opening and closing means 12, 15 are opened and, when the opening and closing means 14 is opened after about 1sec, the air bubble in the blood feed pipe 8 is discharged to a blood collecting container along with blood through blood feed pipes 8, 2. by this constitution, plasma can safely and rapidly be collected from a blood doner.
