Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden hybrid truss, enabling lowering of construction cost and reduction of term of works, especially the design term of works by using each component unit (skeleton member) having enough compression resisting force and proof tensile force and adopting a conventional joining method original for the wooden construction.
SOLUTION: A metal plate 3 having a joint connecting means 2 is abutted on both end faces of lumber 1, and the metal plates 3 are connected to each other by a connecting material 4. As the connecting material 4, a bar steel, both ends of which are threaded and a stranded piano wire are considered. The connecting material 4 is pierced through the lumber 1 in some case, disposed in contact with the outside surface of the lumber in some case and disposed in a position away from the outside surface of the lumber in some case.
