Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden member connecting device capable of firmly and attractively connecting wooden members together for a building.
SOLUTION: A first wooden member 2 and a second wooden member 3 are connected together by using a bolt shank portion 5 and a bar-shaped fixing member 6. A bore hole 16 for inserting the bolt shank portion 5 is made in the wooden first member 2. A blind insertion hole 26 capable of continuing to the inserting bore hole 16 is made in the second wooden member 3; a housing bore hole 27 for inserting the bar-shaped fixing member 6 is installed in a manner that it crosses the insertion hole 26; and the tip portion of the insertion hole 26 is made as a relief hole 30 projected from the housing bore hole 27. A tip portion 31 of the bolt shank portion 5 is formed to atapered shape. A threaded hole 33 for screwing the bolt shank 32 at the tip end of the bolt shank portion 5 is provided almost at the center portion of the bar-shaped fixing member 6 in the length direction; atapered guide hole 35, the diameter of which increases toward the end portion, is provided for the threaded hole 33; and the tapered tip portion 31 is located in the by-relief hole 30 in a state when the bolt shank 32 is screwed to the threaded hole 33.
