To provide a woodwork comfortably used by anyone in a form suitable for a modern life irrespective of a religion and a denomination, having a spiritual, mythological, and spacious feeling even if the structure is simplified and has a compact size, not requiring a complicated structure such as wiring, and further served as a room decoration or a artistic article.

The woodwork is formed by dividing a wood block derived from one timber into a plurality of wood pieces, and fixing at least part of divided surfaces of the respective wood pieces so that the external shape of the original wood block is reconstructed. The wood work has an internal space communicating with the outside. A manufacturing method of the same is provided.
