Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody ornament enabling wood to be efficiently ornamented, and a method for manufacturing the woody ornament.SOLUTION: In a woody ornament 1, a woody ornament plate 20 formed by bonding a woody ornament sheet (sliced veneer) to a metal plate is laminated on a base body 10 formed of a resin molding or the like, and is fixed to the base body 10 with a hook portion 24 formed by bending a part of the woody ornament plate 20 toward the other face side. For this reason, the method for manufacturing the woody ornament has productivity higher than that in a method for bonding the woody ornament sheet to the base body 10. The hook portion 24 is structured so that the end of the woody ornament plate 20 is bent along side plate portions 261, 262 and 263 of the base body 10. For this reason, the hook portion 24 is positioned on the end of the woody ornament 1. Accordingly, the hook portion 24 and a notch for forming the hook portion 24 are not conspicuous on the surface of the woody ornament 1.
