The heat generation device 10 has a unit structure integrally comprising horizontally long heat generating furnaces 11, 12 with input ports 13, 14 formed on a front surface, and housing woody fuel 40 inside; a smoke discharging pipe 27 or the like connected to back surfaces of the heat generating furnaces 11, 12 for guiding smoke caused by the combustion of the woody fuel 40; a blower 32 provided on a second duct 59 for adjusting an air supply rate to the heat generating furnaces 11, 12; a deodorizing device 80 connected to the second duct 59 and having a bio-chamber 84 for deodorizing by passing the smoke; a first water tank 61 with the heat generating furnaces 11, 12 built in for accumulating hot water; a second water tank 62 communicated with the first water tank 61 installed on the upper side of a smoke cooling pipe for accumulating the hot water; a third water tank 63 for accumulating water for cleaning the smoke in a spray chamber 57 with water; and a temperature control part 34 for adjusting temperatures in the heat generating furnaces 11, 12.
