Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a woody cement board, excellent in dimensional stability, bending strength and freezing and fusing resistance performances without requiring the autoclave curing and good in coating properties by blending a woody cement board consisting essentially of a cement and a woody reinforcing material with mica and wollastonite.
CONSTITUTION: This woody cement board is constituted of (A) a surface layer part comprising a hardened mixture, consisting essentially of a cement and a woody reinforcing material and containing mica in an amount within the range of ≤3wt.% and wollastonite in an amount within the range of 5-20wt.% added thereto and (B) a core layer part, comprising a hardened mixture, consisting essentially of the cement and the woody reinforcing material and containing the mica in an amount within the range of 5-15wt.% and the wollastonite in an amount within the range of 5-20wt.% added thereto. The woody cement board has a two-layer structure of the surface layer part laminated to the surface of the core layer or a three-layer structure of the surface layer parts laminated to the front and back surfaces of the core layer part. The composition of the components is preferably ≥50wt.% cement as a whole and 10-30-wt.% sum total of the mica and wollastonite.
