Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate execution by forming a brick laying patterned face on the surface of a woody substrate, providing a groove in a joint between brick patterns and, at the same time, providing chamfering sections every other brick pattern of both short-side ends of a floor board.

CONSTITUTION: Within range of 445-455mm in short-side size and 1800-1820mm in long side size, a woody substrate 1 if formed of plywood or particle board, etc. After prallelepipedic wooden blocks are glued in brick patterns to form a glued flitch, thinly cut sliced fancy veneers 2 are stuck on the woody substrate 1 through adhesives. Then, a groove 4 is formed along a glued joint 3 on the surface of the fancy veneers 2, a chamfering sections 5 are formed on both short-side ends of the fancy veneers 2 every other piece. Accordingly, when the short-side are butted against each other, the chamfering sections on both ends are made like grooves, and the joint can be made inconspicuous.
