This fuel supplying means 3 is composed of a fuel tank 31 for storing the woody fuel P, a supply pipe 32 for dropping the woody fuel, a first conveying means 33 for conveying the woody fuel from a lower end of the fuel tank 31 to an upper end of the supply pipe 32, and a second conveying means 34 for conveying the woody fuel from a lower end of the supply pipe 32 into the burner body 7. When a command for fire extinction is given, the second conveying means 34 is operated in a state of stopping the first conveying means 33 to discharge the woody fuel remaining in the supply pipe 32 into the burner body 7.
